Über sieben Brücken mußt du gehen*

by Sam C. Chan

(You Must Cross over Seven Bridges)

November 22, 2009

In recent years, I've often expressed to my correspondents, where they stand, in my personal 7-layer model of political awareness, as indicated by their respective attributes and aptitude:

  • moral autonomy (and all that it implies)
  • information access privileges and other logistical means
  • sources utilized and rules of engagement practiced
  • logic, intellect, and linguistic prowess
  • prerequisite knowledge in specific fields
  • comprehension of how things work in general
You believe you understand?   Your believes might not stand.
You think you know?    You don't know what you don't know!
What else could be so important there to gain?    Think again!
A big secret none knows?   It's actually right under your nose!

Welcome to the ironic world of smoke and mirror!

More details to be disclosed in due course, as events develop and situation warrants.
This metaphorical EerieKA! "blind radio call" was recorded on August 8, 2008.

[Over seven bridges is the second album by German rock group Karat in 1979, which appeared in the GDR (the former East Germany). It appeared under the name of Albatros, with a slightly altered track list in the Federal Republic of Germany.]   DANKE BINE!
