And yet, the mindless herd
doesn’t seem to care. Can’t say I’m shocked. Just find it
amazing. Life as an average arrogant, ignorant hypocrite
must be truly blissful and fulfilling. I can just see, who
would have time for the boring stuff, with the latest
mischief of glorified whore Paris Hilton, shameless promoter
Tom Cruise’s incessant stuns, and the juicy petty scandal du
jour in congress?? Don’t get me wrong: the follies of Foley
is no doubt tragic, unethical and appalling, but hardly
anything earth-shattering, in the larger scheme of things.
I count you 3 mindful thinker
friends among my most decent inner circle, in which I once
again seek refuge, by sharing my thoughts. Thank you, for
being willing and able to comprehend these. For that, I am
truly grateful—for it alone is sufficient for me to
preserve my sanity. I am not so presumptuous as to expect
you to agree. I will humbly accept any
objections/corrections and welcome earnest debate.
Forgive me for my less than puritan
language. But the situation is dire, and the tone must fit
